As We Prepare for the 4-Slyce ep

I've been looking for a good way to record at home for years and tried different things such as, 4-tracks, minidiskplayer and computers but I was never satisfied. I never got along with the computer I had.
A year ago I bought a new computer. A Mac Powerbook, and a while ago I bought an mBox2.
The program ProTools came with the mBox. I think this is the best I've come up with so far. I use a descent mic called (I think) ADK A-51ST.

The good thing with using ProTools is that most studios use that software so I'm compatible with them if I want to record something at home and the do additional recordings and the mixing in a better place.

//K.

Those are the words of my reigning musical hero, Kristofer Åström. And I already own a Mac Powerbook, plus have an intimate business relationship with another.

Lyrical Storm

Ok, like this for the "()" sections:

to beats that translate clear.
to those in deep distress(or despair).
to shake loose of mental chains.
keys to our hearts to share.

Think about it. This is the beginning of something beautiful. I haven't sung these lyrics out loud yet. I'm sitting in a computer lab on campus. Or maybe I should sing out loud, then I could really see if they're quality...

Lyrically We Brün

4-Slyce. This is not my idea of a sick joke. This is my idea of making lyrics for that song Brünhead. This is just a sample of one verse. I'm singing both parts, so obviously it will sound better when I just sing my part (the "We will *something*") and then you sing your part (the part in ()s). And how do you like that? I'm thinking this can be our Broonhead theme song, about us, how—
We will march (to beats that only we hear)
We will sing (to you because we like you)
We will dance (but only when we really want to)
We will bring (our hearts because they’re in us)
or whatever, and you can feel free to write your own lyrics and maybe I'll only be singing "We will *something*" over and over. Think it over. We'll talk it over.

Start a Song with Words

After keeping house alone all day I went to Wendy's and waited in the drive-thru. When the guy in front of me didn't know what he wanted to order, I musically said, "You had all that time." This is what became of that.

UPDATE (11.06.07): to see how this song is progressing in modern times, check out Creent and Brother Lucas's Sambo Yojimbo project.

Befire and Arson (Brün)

We have hours and powers to make beauty like that like this like that of a slightly pushed back bottom right front tooth, or maybe like JG, but it's too soon to tell. The preemie is growing to be a Daikini.

Brünhead

Brünhead is a Brün remix. Because you deserve more Brün.

Enough Said

Coming to a town near you!

Lust of Love

Getting campier, this is salvage from a libbyroom session. I know it's going to get stolen. Just make sure you aren't the one who steals it.

Same Song version 1

Same song in its infancy. Still easier for buttmunch Creent to make videos than to figure out true audio. Creent is singing; his voice does crack up at the end of the song. No point in listening to the words coz they are nonsense made up on the spot with no sign of genius. Also no point in listening to the last black 30 seconds of silence. But listen especially to seconds 36, 37 & 38.

Do yourself a favor and don't underestimate

Enough is More

This is a scrap of Broonhead's first hit that might not yet sound like a hit. Broonhead is Creent and 4-Slyce's project, so get your own. And we refuse to be embarrassed about all those times when our harmonies don't harmonize. We will fix them when our voices have time. Also, try to ignore the motion picture. Since we recorded this jumbalaya in iMovie we decided it would be easier to post it as a movie.
